Mahashivaratri 2026
This is not a celebration. This is a return.

Most spiritual programs promise to give you something—peace, power, or a new experience.
This 11-Day MahÄĹivarÄtri SÄdhana is different. It is designed to take things away. It is a gradual withdrawal of effort, a refinement of conditions, and a return to the source before the "I" becomes an identity.
The Structure:
-
Phase I: Purification of attention.
-
Phase II: Withdrawal from noise.
-
Phase III: Stabilisation in effortlessness.
-
Phase IV: The Night of Non-Movement.
We aren't looking for Ĺiva. We are looking for what remains when the seeking finally dissolves.
đ Begins: 09-02-2026
đ Platform: Online (Silent participation)

MahÄĹivarÄtri SÄdhana:
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What exactly is the 11-Day SÄdhana?
â
It is a structured period of inner withdrawal starting February 9th and ending beyond the night of MahÄĹivarÄtri, February 15th. It is not a course or a teaching, but a refinement of your daily conditions to allow the natural state of stillness to surface.
2. Is this program suitable for beginners?
Yes. Because we are not "adding" complex techniques but rather "removing" noise, anyone with a sincere intent to remain still can participate. The orientations are direct and clear.
3. Do I need to be online for the entire 11 days?
No. This is a self-led SÄdhana. You will receive a Daily Inner Orientation (digital card) each morning. The only "live" collective event is the nightlong vigil stream on February 18th.
4. What are the dietary requirements?
We recommend a Satvik diet: fresh, vegetarian, and light. During Phase I (Feb 9–11), you should reduce stimulants (caffeine, excessive spices, and salt). Detailed dietary guidance is provided upon registration.
5. I have a demanding 9-to-8 job. Can I still participate?
â
Yes. The SÄdhana is designed to be integrated into your life. The "Withdrawal" phase (Feb 12–14) focuses on how you manage your attention while working—observing the gaps between tasks and maintaining internal silence amidst external activity.
â
6. What does "No Spiritual Consumption" mean?
During these 11 days, we ask you to stop reading spiritual books, watching satsangs, or listening to podcasts—even those of Adiguru Maitreya. The goal is to stop seeking external "answers" and start abiding in your own presence.
7. Is there a specific time for the daily sitting?
We recommend sitting in silence before sunrise (Brahma MuhĹŤrta). However, the most important aspect is the continuity of awareness throughout your waking hours.
8. What if I cannot stay awake the entire night on February 15th?
â
In the Avasi Adva tradition, we do not force wakefulness. Force creates tension, and tension is the opposite of Ĺiva. You are encouraged to stay awake only as long as it remains effortless. If sleep comes, rest without guilt.
9. Why is there a Dakshina of âš1,100?
Dakshina is an ancient tradition of energy exchange. It anchors your commitment to the process and supports the Soul Searchers charitable initiatives, including the Maha Annadanam (food offering) conducted during the festival.
10. Can I participate if I am already following another practice?
This SÄdhana is a process of "undoing." It does not conflict with other practices, but for these 11 days, we suggest you prioritize the Avasi Adva orientations to experience the full depth of the lineage's transmission.
11. How do I access the Daily Orientations and the Live Stream?
â
Upon registration, you will be added to a private portal/closed group where the daily cards and the link for the February 18th Night Vigil will be shared.
